When I service any 70 or 80 min amount is 1 1/2 bottles in the 70 and 2 in the 80.Next go to the trans filler port on the left and top it off... After you drive a few miles, recheck and top off the trans again. Why? #1 The trans filler port is higher than the transfer case filler. #2 The trans and transfer case share oil. #3 Topping off at the trans filler port will raise the oil level in the TC.The Dana 60 spec is just under 3 quarts. In my personal experience, the Dana 50 will take about 2.5 - 2.75 quarts to fill to the plug. As far as I know, the D50 and D60 use the same case, so they SHOULD have the same capacity. IT was factory filled with 75W-90 But ford has since updated to use 75W-145 for in service fluid changes on the rear ends. The other manufactures that use the Dana 80 (mainly mopar) still spec the 75W-90 in their rear ends.
