A positive is a positive no matter how faint or dark the line is. That's why they usually tell you to wait a full week after your missed AF to test. It only tests to see if the hormone is present, not how much of it there is. If you take 6 tests after each other, you can have different shades of lines on each one. It means nothing. It is the presence of the line that is the important thing. So you could buy tests for the next 7 weeks, and still not get a darker line.
