My RE repeated my HCG every other day and in week 1, it barely doubled (or failed to double) at all between draws - we were very worried it was not a viable pregnancy at all. Then week two of lab work was STILL normal until blood draw 4 or 5, when it suddenly got REALLY high.

I've had my HCG levels measured at 5 and 6 weeks. At 5 weeks my reading was 7,500, and then 48,000 at 6 weeks. This seems super high when looking at charts and at levels others are reporting.
